Competitions

Friendship Largesse Contest
We encourage teams or partnerships of friends to come together and create largesse for use in gift baskets and as tokens for the populace. With at least one friend, your team should create 13 handmade items. The items may be the same or there may be a variety. Your team may be simply friends, cantons, households, etc. Be sure to include a business card or label for each item noting your team name, and if you have one, all artists' names, and what the items are. Edibles and drinkables must list all ingredients. This is free advertising for you and your team!

The winning team receives one item from each entrant. This leaves the barony with the remaining twelve to use as largesse. Winning entry will show LOVE for the Barony of the Sacred Stone in any of the following ways:

In its use of green & white,
double-headed phoenix,
and crystal or mineral stones.

Baroness Azza's Aviary Contest
Create a piece in which ANY bird or birds are central to the design. Artists may choose to keep their work or to donate it to the baronage. Winning item will show the skill of the artist in their chosen medium.

2nd Annual Sir Axel Kubb Tournament
Hosted by last year's winner- Master Robert Shockley

Baronial A&S Champion Event
Baronage will host "Mithra's Fire" this year to choose the next Baronial A&S Champion. This competition will involve contestants making and utilizing items made with fire or heat. Such items include: smithing, casting, cooking, glassmaking, etc.
